A complex new accessory was designed for the Yamaha SLG 200S guitar using these new pickups: a pickguard that sports the pickups, tone pots, pickup selector switch and the output jack – all functionality of an electric guitar.The unit can be installed easily in the place of the original pickguard and it fulfills the capabilities of the guitar and broadens the player’s musical possibilities.
And – of course – it sounds fabulous, balanced, smooth and clean.
Currently there is no other pickup on the market with this size and technology. We succeeded in modifying and re-designing the traditional technical solutions so that it does not affect the sound quality in any way but the pickup height was reduced to 5.5mm compared to the 30-40mm. The pickup provides a true humbucker sound with ideal electronic and acoustic parameters.
